Next Club meeting

 Our first meeting of the year will be on Tuesday, Sept. 19 at the Mansfield Senior Center

The meeting will begin at 6:30 but you can come a little earlier to socialize and catch up with other members.

 

The Challenge for the meeting is “Your Favorite Photo(s) from the Summer.”  We will have a slideshow at the meeting.

Club exhibits

Remember that our group has a Members’ Exhibit at the Vanilla Bean Cafe in Pomfret for the entire month of September.  We put up the show this week and it looks very nice. For those of you who might not know, the Vanilla Bean has great food and a totally charming atmosphere.  Take a drive through the Quiet Corner, maybe have a bite to eat, and see your fellow members’ work!

Photography Exhibition, Arts Center East, Vernon

Exhibit Dates: December 10–January 14, 2022

Gallery Hours: Thursday–Saturday, 1:00-5:00pm

Opening Reception: Saturday, December 10, 2022, 2:00–4:00pm

Each year, Arts Center East dedicates an exhibit to the art of photography. Open to photographers ages 18 and older who work in digital and film photography. All subjects are welcome, whether nature photography, architecture, close-ups of small details, portraits, etc. This exhibit is to showcase the unique ways photographers view and capture the world around us.

Submission Deadline: Sunday, November 13, 2022

Jury Results: Monday, November 21, 2022

Cape Cod Art Center CC’s 7th annualClick!

After a 3-year pause necessitated by the COVID pandemic, Cape Cod Art Center CC’s 7th annualClick! Photography Conference will be once again held in Hyannis, MA on Saturday, November 4th with follow-on workshops at Cape Cod Art Center by some of our speakers on Sunday, November 5th. The Conference is already three quarters booked to capacity by over 125 early registrants from clubs around our New England region.
